Ms. Wolford is excited to be back in Louisville teaching at Assumption as a science teacher, which she has been wanting to do for a while. She loves the warm and supportive community that is unlike the other schools she’s taught at. Ms. Wolford was an anatomy and biology professor in Virginia, and now that she’s back at Assumption, she’s looking forward to seeing how excited her students are to learn about the material she is teaching.

Ms. Sutton, who has been part of the Archdiocese of Louisville since elementary school, really loves the environment at Assumption. In fact, our sense of community is exactly what drew her to us. She teaches Chemistry to sophomores and Biology to freshmen. In her classes, it’s evident how strongly Assumption emphasizes the importance of feeling like a family. Ms. Sutton says, “Since day one at Assumption it has felt like a community.”
