Assumption’s New Faculty! Part Two

Kristin Walsh is one out of many that is new to Assumption High School. Mrs. Walsh was born in Columbus, OH and moved to Chicago after college. After living in Chicago, she decided to move to Louisville with her husband and son. Walsh said, “When I first came [to Assumption] everyone was supportive and together.” Mrs. Walsh is the class of 2021 counselor and works with the Chick-fil-a Leadership Academy. She is enjoying her first year here and can’t wait for more adventures to come.

Andrew Stairs is one of many new faculty members at Assumption High School. Mr. Stairs, is a first year English teacher and is getting involved with the theatre and in the liturgies. Mr. Stairs has been by Assumption several times with his parents. His mom and dad both worked here and both loved it. “I enjoy the passion and drive that Assumption people have.” Welcome Mr. Stairs to the Community of Assumption!

Dr. Stellino Smith is one of the many new teachers at Assumption! She is originally from Southern California. When she moved to Louisville, to be with her daughter and grandchildren, she began to substitute at A HS. She loved the school and community so much she decided to apply for a teaching job. She enjoys the environment, adventures, and spending time with her family. She wants to let everyone know, “Assumption is such a great community. The faculty and staff are so welcoming.”
