Popsicles are cool summer snacks that have been around for years. People of all ages, young and old, can enjoy these sweet treats.
Though delicious, popsicles are often filled with lots of grams of unhealthy sugars. One healthy alternative to those yummy sugary treats is making your own popsicles so you know what goes in them.
Homemade popsicles are super easy to make. You start off with eight ounces of a fresh fruit (of your choosing), two cups of vanilla yogurt, two teaspoons of sugar, and one six piece ice pop mold. Once you have your ingredients, purée the fruit you chose to use, then mix the purée with the yogurt and sugar and pour into the ice pop mold.
After you pour the mixture into the mold, let it sit in the freezer for at least three hours, maybe a little more. Once fully frozen your cool treats are ready to be enjoyed.
