Halloween Night at AHS

Halloween+Night+at+AHS

Every year the Assumption Alumnae Association and Marketing & Admissions office team up to host the annual Family Halloween Night. This event was held on Wednesday, October 20, from 5:00-7:30p.m. Halloween night is the second biggest event that Assumption High School hosts. The members of Advancement council and Recruitment team come together and decorate the entire first floor hallways with Halloween decorations. This year each homeroom decorated their own door. The winning homeroom with the best decorated door won family points. These door decorations were used to put on all of the doors on the first floor for Halloween night. Each student working this event comes in their Halloween costume, competing against each other to see who is best dressed! Our students’ parents were very thoughtful and donated tons of candy for us to hand out to the kids while trick or treating. Every kid loves Halloween because there are so many fun activities that you can do. Some activities that you and your family could do is carve pumpkins, go trick or treating, watch Halloween movies, etc. We had over 800 people attend this event and they all had a great night. During this event we provide trick or treating for kids, coloring, and an opportunity for kids to dress up in their favorite costumes. Senior, Raylynn Elder said “This is one of my favorite events that Assumption hosts. Seeing all the kids have a smile on their face walking through the hallways is one of the best parts! I also really like how alum come back to this event with their kids”. Thank you to everyone that helped make this annual event spectacular!
