The Kentucky Derby is a famous horse race held every spring at Churchill Downs. It started in 1875 making it one of the oldest sports in the United States. It is known as the “most exciting two minutes in sports” because it is a short race with a lot of adrenaline rush. It became famous for its unique traditions. The Derby attracts the most famous jockeys, horses, and trainers from all around the globe.

Many women go all out with their hats, decorating them with feathers, flowers and ribbons. It started as a practicality, to keep viewers cool in the stands, then evolved as women wore them to show off their elegance. The Derby hat is now cherished in the atmosphere of the Derby with their big and eye-catching appearances.
