Starting strong, a fancy dinner is a classic way to celebrate. Getting dressed up and eating delicious food with friends is always a fun time. No matter where you are, there is likely to be a range of food options nearby. There is a wonderfully diverse range of restaurants available in Louisville, from Italian to sushi, steakhouses, seafood: the possibilities are endless.
But maybe your squad isn’t the dress up type – a cozy pajama night is also a perfect way to celebrate. Grab your blankets and pillows, get comfy, and settle in for a good girl power movie such as Barbie, Legally Blonde, or Pitch Perfect. With tons of movies to choose from, this is bound to be a great night.
Another idea that is food related but doesn’t require getting fancy is a Galentine’s day bake-off. Everyone makes their favorite sweet or savory dish for everyone to taste. You can bake anything your heart desires: chocolate-dipped strawberries, red velvet cake, or even heart-shaped pizza. Get your girls together and put on your aprons!
Want to make something for your BFFs, but don’t have any baking skills? Then it’s time to consider Secret Cupid! Secret Cupid is the holiday of love’s version of Secret Santa, with friends secretly performing acts of kindness or exchanging small gifts to a designated person, their “Secret Cupid”. This is a perfect way to show your friends you absolutely love them!
