March Madness is an annual NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s basketball tournament. This features 68 college teams competing in a tournament to crown a national champion. This is held in mid-March- early April. Among the 68 teams, there were 31 conferences along with them.  

You may be wondering… how to the rounds work? It starts off with the first four games, then it is followed by the rounds of 64, 32, Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight, then the Final Four, then finally the championship round.  

As this is a single elimination tournament, once you lose one game you are bumped out completely.  

2026 will be the 87th year of March Madness UCLA holds the most title wins in the Men’s tournament with 11, winning 10 of those in a matter of a 12-year period! Our most recent victor, Florida, will be trying for the back to back dub. Though I don’t think either team take home the trophy. Michigan and Vanderbilt are two of my favored teams for this season’s tournament.
