Driving Tips for winter weather

Below are a few safe driving tips for the winter season.

-Increase you distance between cars

-Slow and steady when snow is coming down fast

-Keep your windshield and windows clear

-If stuck in snow put either cat litter or salt behind the wheels of your car to help get traction

-Brake gently to avoid sliding

-Take it slow on bridges and overpasses for they are the first to freeze

-If you start to slide take foot off gas

**Best advice for driving in bad winter weather is not to drive at all, if you can avoid it.

Drive safe and smart!
