Letter art is the action of taking pictures of the alphabet found in nature, architecture, and objects. With letter art, you can make a word, name, or themed picture. It is a growing style in home décor.

Letter art is inexpensive, it makes a unique gift, it is easy to do, and you can personalize it to the individual it’s for. The gift works for any occasion such as holidays, birthdays, weddings, coach gifts, or anniversaries.

All of the letters could be taken from a sport, in nature, of gardening tools, or of flowers. You could even make the letters out of food if the person you are making it for, or yourself, likes to cook. Decide whether they are going to be in black and white or the person’s favorite color before you begin.

The letters in this picture spell out Bill. The “B” is a dog food and water bowl. The “I” is a dumbbell. The first “L” is a post on a bed and the second “L” is a right angle sign. This was another way to make it unique because the person the gift was for likes math.

All you need is a camera, a frame, and your imagination and you are ready to make letter art!
