Fearlessly Dancing In the Moonlight at Prom

The Class of 2015 celebrated one of their last moments together “Dancing in the Moonlight” on Friday, May 8 at their Senior Prom. From sparkly to homemade dresses, and six inch heels to converse, there was a diverse assortment of apparel which emphasized the fearlessness of the class. “The best part is definitely knowing I look like a princess,” said Katie Hileman.

The Senior Prom took place downtown at the Gillespie. Guests arrived at 6:30 and dinner was served following. They enjoyed a variety of food surrounded by timeless and classic décor. After dinner the girls grabbed their dates and danced the night away! The DJ played a great range of different genres from slow country to upbeat hip-hop, it was hard not to bust a move!

After four years of anticipation for Prom Queen, Jenny Anderson was crowned. When asked to make a speech by Mrs. Ribar, Jenny made “H15TORY” by beat-boxing instead. This made the crowd go wild, showing their love and support as a class.

“This was a great way to remember my class, we’ll forever be fearless,” said Olivia Helm as the night came to an end. Prom was a great success as everyone arrived and left with smiles on their faces knowing they’ll have memories that will last a lifetime.
