High school students around the nation look forward to their school’s junior prom or formal, and Assumption’s junior class is no exception. At an all-girls school, prom may be celebrated in a somewhat different style, but the thrill and anticipation leading up to the event are the same. 

The aim of junior prom at Assumption is to let girls express themselves and have fun without worrying about what other people think. Girls are able to relax and have fun with their friends, which can make prom an enjoyable event. 

The prom court is a wonderful approach that encourages friendships as well. As we honor the connections we have with our classmates. It’s crucial to feel a sense of belonging, and the prom court is a wonderful way to do that.

The 2023 elected Prom Queen was Ryley Hendrick. 

The focus on creating lasting connections with others and cultivating a feeling of community is greatly acknowledged at junior prom. The manner in which prom is observed demonstrates this. The emphasis is on honoring the friendships that ladies establish with one another rather than on romantic relationships. This is demonstrated by the selection process for the prom court, which entails the nomination of juniors from each family and a class vote for the prom queen. The schoolgirls’ sisterhood and cohesion are fostered by this approach. 

Overall, Assumption’s junior prom is a significant occasion for the junior class. They can enjoy themselves with their friends and appreciate the relationships they have with one another. Assumption was able to give its students a special and delightful experience by focusing on sisterhood and community.
