Alumnae from every fifth year from the classes of 1959 through 2009 gathered in the CAC from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., on Friday, May 30, to reunite with old friends and have a fun-filled night at their alma mater.
The oldest graduating class there was the Class of 1959, who were celebrating their 50 year anniversary. They kicked off the weekend with the reunion event, but still had much more to come the rest of the weekend. On Saturday, May 31, the class was invited to their Celebration Mass, which was followed by their very own luncheon.
The rest of the classes did not have any special events, but they still came and celebrated being back at Assumption.
“This is the best place ever. I never wanted to leave and I am so glad I am back,” said Ryanne Milligan, Class of 2009 graduate.
The alumnae talked, danced, ate, and drank their night away. Smiles were on everyone’s faces, even as they filed out of the CAC with their friends to leave the place they once called home.
